I return you the copy Queries and the Answers to them. The only fault I find in them is that they are too conclusive upon matters which do not admit of legal argument.
His Excellency gave me the proposed draft letter to peruse. I will bring it to you for reasons which I will mention to you when we meet; it does not press.
